Well, seeing as I've committed myself to learning Croatian, I will put up a topic about it. Any tips or help, you people who know the language, are welcome to help, but'll post my improvements and all that here.

Committed to learning Croatian

The Croatian alphabet consists of 30 letters, of which 5 are vowels (a, e, i, o, u) and 25 consonants. Each sound is represented by a single letter as you are able to hear from the recordings. Beside regular latinic letters, Croatian alphabet also has diacritical letters (č, ć, đ, š, ž) and digraphs (dž, lj, nj). Dž is both a diacritical letter and a digraph.

Some words to help me out - Remember these!

Napokon u New Yorku i novoj kući! Nema ništa lijepše nego kada s puta dođeš kući, skineš cipele, legneš na sofu i blijedo gledaš u zid nekoliko minuta. Trebalo je sada samo pričekati da se Mags vrati doma pa da se jede večera. Vjerojatno ćemo nešto prvo naručiti, kinesku, japansku, koreansku...Bilo što, samo da se ne kuha!
Katarina je uzdisala svako malo i svakim udisajem postajala sve gladnija. Koliko će toj ludici trebati da se vrati kući?! Oh čovječe...

Finally in New York and new house! There is nothing better than coming home from a trip, taking your shoes off, lie down on sofa and stare at a wall for few minutes. Now all that needed to be done was to wait Mags to come home, so they could eat dinner. They will probably order something, chinese, japanese, korean...Anything, just so they don't have to cook.
Katarina sighed every now and then becoming more hungry with every sigh. When is that silly coming home? Oh boy...

I think I died outa laughter when I saw the word 'Đavao' there.I believe it's a serbian word,and croatian would be 'Vrag' x3

oh and, lil, try to find "Serbian Lessons" on YouTube...dude who makes it swears alot but he also teaches you some phrases and words...

and if you are Croatian/Serbian/Bosnian you will find him hillarious...swearing is always hillarious...xD
